Excellent post, very helpful and got me out of a bit of s*#t,...
The one thing thats still stuffing me up, is that the coloring of wires as stated in ur post are
different to whats on my car. About half are right, but all the ones that need to be moved are
different coloring,...
Should i just ignore it, and go by the pin number or try find the right colored wire,...
Any more input on this would be appreciated,..

Cheers;

Form memory, I think the wire colours changed from Series I to Series II. (I cant remember exactly).
And I think the doco is for Series I. (Its been a while since I played around with AU Falcons, so my memory is very hazy).

What Series Falcon do you have ?
I might be able to find out more information.

Cheers, and thank you for the positive feedback ;)

Glad it helped ;)

I'm not sure if I or the forum can get in trouble if I mention where I got it from, but if you go to your local aftermarket car parts supplier, they should have a few different 1's but there does seem to be a clearer 1 made by a certain R company!

Good luck, let me know if you want to look at anything else!

Hey, How did you go with upgrading your cluster mate?
Im trying to install a 2000 Series 2 Fairmont cluster in my 2000 Series 2 Forte 5 Speed.

I got stuck at the wiring but this looks like it will help alot, If all goes well for me I might write my own How to for this for S2/3 AU's.
