VE Radio / HVAC EEPROM reprogramming information

thanks for reply mate. i pulled it apart checked all the connections then put it together again then in the car and still no sound

is that problem happened even if played the radio ,Aux and CD ?

yes same thing on either aux cd radio wont play anything but will still play the beep tones fine.

Hi Guys,

Just ordered a second stereo for my Caprice on eBay and am keen to pull it apart and play with it. I was trying to download some of the attachments in this thread to have a look in advance but the zip files always seem to be corrupted. Has anyone else had this problem?

Most attachments will be corrupt/lost due to the site moved over to a new server/host. Should be able to do most changes if read through whats been done/ what was needed to be changed and the various hints for other things

Long time reader first time post. I recently bought a e2 clubsport headunit complete with matching hvac module (score ) off ebay and i have taken an eeprom dump. I thought some of you guys might be interested because it does actually come up with the E2 start up screen. If anyone would like a look, im happy to put it up

Firstly I just want to thank all the members for their hard work and determination in successfully pulling off the radio change over.

I have read and printed then read again all of the information on this site. I have a huge folder with all the printed info(should post a picture of it) Just tons of information...

Anyway I have looked but been unable to find the DZ eeprom to flash. (except one corrupt zip file)
Could anyone please post a copy.

If I can help in any way just let me know.. As I said I have complied quite a large amount of information in hardcopy and PDF, so if anyone would like a copy just let me know. I also have found an Australian supplier for the 3m Clips and GQ-4x programmer if anyone is interested...
