Yes dd, that is why I am asking you'se. So that I can get the truth & not bull shitted to all the time by dickheads trying to palm me off, which won't happen. Ok The Update is a mandatary update. Holden sent out letters to book your car in for the update, It is even on my HOLDEN invoice as "mandatory". So it is done regardless. I told holden not to update it with the latest version as I have seen way too many complaints about sound quality & front speaker issues after the update.
cheers.

As for you telling them what to do that would more than likely come from the members on here giving you info yet in the previous posts ( like the 2 to 4 speakers ) you were doubting my replies. Need to get you info all sorted before questioning etc.

No I was not doubting your replies, I missed one of your posts earlier in that section & that was the answer to my question....hence asking again. I have already apologized to you for that earlier. And yes the info I have gained is from you'se & I am very appreciative for that, it has helped me heaps in trying to get this sorted. And the GOLD tech I did mention, but was told the correct answer by you, so if I don't ask I will never know the truth!
There is always two ways to do things, the wrong way & the right way. That is why I am asking you, because I know it will be the right way.
cheers. be back in a few hours. (mowing lawn)

Yeh jezzab, leaving it stock or not??? After holden doing it with the latest update, when I told them specifically not to do it with the latest s/w or update it...."well, we have do the update regardless, it's one of the campaigns holden have set." So either way, I was getting it. Blue, red, black or pink screen!

Hey guy's, just found the paper with my original s/ware version.

original version
system D305 (AHU4R)
radio D304 (VCDC)
VuC D305 (AHU4)
facia D105

The updated version (reflashed to)
system D112 (AHU4R)
radio D112 (VCDC)
VuC D113 (AHU4)
facia D105

From what I can work out is : The (AHU#:) is the level of car (omega-berlina-calais-sv6-ss-ssv) hence the sound quality & the D### is the build date version. Can you tell me any difference? cheers

Jezzab. After 6 months & it's still not fixed, what would you do?
They have had plenty of time & chances to fix it. They should have done what I requested straight off & it would of been over by far.

Yeh jezza, I imagine it would be ok. It seems to be mostly the VuC 113 (AHU4) that has this problem.
What date/model is your car? cheers
