Hi,

Was wondering if the coil pack was playing up would the engine check light come on and if it would what code would it be?

Just a hint. It might actually help if you told us what car yours is??? Prius? Holden? Ford? Ferrari? Lambo? Few more details just might make the crystal ball a bit clearer ;)

Why do think it could one of the coils? Symptoms? rough idle, coughing-surging-backfiring-excessive fuel use-intermittent-constant or just plain gutless? 25000 things it could be. Well nearly.

Another "on the fly"? Maybe he found a constant velocity converter! Commonly known as a cliff. You park next to it, then push.........easy solution solves all mechanical issues!
