Diagnostic Trouble Code Description:
Brake Pedal Switch Circuit.
DTC P1572 is reported if the BOO and RBS brake switch status are different when the brake pedal is depressed.
Possible Mechanical Faults
Brake switch bracket loose or distorted. BOO or RBS switch damaged or faulty
Possible Wiring Faults
Improper connection to BOO and RBS switch. Fusible link to RBS blown. Switch wiring open circuit or short circuit to VPWR or PWRGND
Possible Module Faults
No speed control option fitted to vehicle. This DTC is not applicable to vehicles without speed control.
