Diagnostic Trouble Code Description:
Power Steering Pressure Switch (PSP - PSPS) did not switch, I6 engine.
DTC P1651 is reported if the switch fails in the closed position. This code is also reported if the PSP does not change state during KOER self-test
Possible Mechanical Faults
Power steering fluid low or loss, mechanical or hydraulic fault in power steering system.
Possible Sensor Faults
Faulty or malfunctioning sensor, switch contacts may be stuck closed, improper operation threshold of switch
Possible Wiring Faults
Improper connection, PSP shorted to Vehicle Power (VPWR)
Possible Module Faults
Steering wheel was not moved during KOER self-test, faulty or damaged PCM
