Diagnostic Trouble Code Description:
Intake air temperature signal (T- MAP I6, IAT V8) circuit range/performance problem.
Temperature sensor element of I6 T-MAP sensor or Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) on V8.
DTC P0111 is reported if the air temperature signal is out of the self-test range.
Possible Sensor Faults
Faulty or malfunctioning sensor
Possible Wiring Faults
Improper connection, improper Reference Voltage (VREF), T-MAP I6 or IAT V8 signal open circuit or shorted to ground
Possible Module Faults
Extreme low ambient temperature, faulty or damaged PCM
