Diagnostic Trouble Code Description:
Transmission Range Sensor (TR) PRNDL sensor circuit range or performance problem (Auto).
DTC P0706 is reported if the TR sensor signal is either out of range or demonstrates a performance problem
Possible Sensor Faults
Faulty sensor, moisture in sensor
Possible Wiring Faults
Improper connection; TR sensor shorted to Vehicle Power (VPWR), Vehicle Reference Voltage (VREF) or ground, sensor open circuit
Possible Module Faults
*AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION This DTC will cause default operation mode #4.
